1833 in History:
When the builders began to develop Park View Terrace, it was a different world. The British Empire was in its pomp after the victory at the Battle of Waterloo (1815). Andrew Jackson was sworn in for his second term as US President and a settlement was established in the Illinos Territory that would go on to become Chicago.
